Personal Statement
I am a determined and academically focused student currently attending an elite selective school in Melbourne, Australia. While excelling in my studies, my true passion lies in running, a sport I discovered in 2021. Since then, I have gone on to join two separate athletics and cross country clubs, and represent them and my school at the regional and state levels.
In addition to my academic and athletic pursuits, I have embraced an entrepreneurial spirit by establishing my own lawn mowing business at the age of 16. This experience has not only developed my business acumen but has also instilled in me a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility.
Complementing my entrepreneurial endeavors, I am gaining valuable professional experience by working for a start-up company founded by a Stanford and a Cambridge graduate. This opportunity has exposed me to a dynamic work environment, providing insights from successful individuals who share my commitment to excellence.
Looking ahead, my dream is to compete for a college in the United States, combining my academic and athletic interests in a collegiate setting. I am eager to bring my diverse experiences, passion for running, and commitment to success to any institution that values a well-rounded individual.
