Personal Statement
Well to start off i would like to introduce myself - my name is Rytis and it is pronounced Ree-tis. I am from a small town of about 13000 people in Lithuania called Elektrėnai. My collegiate goals and aspirations would be to go sub-49 in the 400mh, while also becoming an NCAA champion and, ultiamtely, becoming an Olympian. I would be the best candidate for your team because i'm the most hard-working person you will ever meet, because from the start of my track journey i worked as hard as i could without even having a rubber track to train on and i still managed to run a 52.14 400m and a 23.19 200m. I always try to better myself in every aspect of life daily and i would like to achieve my full potential on and off the track in a college that would be willing to accept me and my aspirations of becoming the best 400m hurdler i can. I would be great for your team because of my work ethic and my constant hunger for knowledge and improvement in athletics, as well as academics too. I always uplift my teammates and bring the best mood in training to create a safe and fun atmosphere during those hard training sessions. I think i differ from other recruits in character, because i never give up despite the odds being against me i never have, and i never will give up on my dreams of achieving big things. In my high school days i would always do my best in every subject, having a great memory made that easier for me. I have been speaking english from around 5 years of age, so i think that this would also make my international student-athlete career a smoother ride than it would otherwise be without me being able to speak english completely fluently.
