Jacob Baier '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Baier. I am 6'3" and 255 pounds, and I have been throwing varsity shot put and discus since freshman year. I qualified for state my freshman, sophomore, and junior years (place winner my junior year).  I like to lift weights, and I am always improving my strength. I have experience with other sports, such as football and basketball.

In my free time, I enjoy fishing and hunting as well as hanging out with my friends. My favorite school subjects are math and science, and I enjoy my engineering and business classes. In college, I hope to continue focusing on engineering. Also, I want to continue to participate in sports in college so that I may enjoy that experience at the next level. I believe I could help your team because I am a hard worker and dedicated to making myself and my team better. I spend a lot of time outside of regular practice working to get better. I always give it my all and am respectful and accountable to my coaches and teammates.
