I have been running every day for past 1350 days, no matter the weather. I take pride in my running and I am dedicated to the sport. I started running at a young age and have loved it ever since. I would love to run at the collegiate level as it would push me physically and mentally to the next level. I would be very excited and appreciative because I recognize the not very many people are given the opportunity to do so.
I believe that I would be a good fit for your team because I am a hard worker. I will run in any conditions, even if that means running in below zero degree temperatures or 30 mph wind. I have good racing knowledge though I would like to improve it further. I have qualified for state XC my freshman, sophomore, junior years; I even won state my 8th grade year. I have qualified for state track my freshman and sophomore years in the distance events. I have had success in other sports such as golf and gymnastics. I bring a positive attitude towards running and other activities that I participate in.
I am a hard worker in the classroom. I strive to get goods grades and not just pass the class but to understand the subject. I am a volunteer around the city and I am working towards graduating at the top of my class and with a silver cord.
I am working to be the best student, athlete, and person that I can be and I want a college that can help me with that. I am open to any options that give me a high level of competition and a good team spirit as well. I want to have people that I can look up too and strive to get better with them.
