Coming into high school I was in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Though I enjoyed playing all sports with my friends, I liked track more than the other sports I played. I did not get a freshman season due to COVID. My sophomore season I was a part of our shuttle hurdle relay that placed 2nd in class 2a state. My junior season I was in football, baseball, and track. Coming into this past season I was very excited. I knew out team would do great as a whole, but I also knew I could do some good things individually. Before my hamstring became injured this past season, I was able to run 110m highs one time which was a 15.58. I also ran the 4x100m indoors, and my teammates and I ran a 42.62 on a 300m track. I was not able to run the rest of the year because of my hamstring being injured. This Summer I've been able to fully recover my hamstring while doing sprinting training at OI Performance in Sioux Falls. I am not going to be playing baseball or football my senior year, so I will continue training throughout the off-season. I am looking forward to putting up some good times next track season. When it comes to academics, I have a 3.98 GPA and I got a 28 on the ACT. I do plan on taking the ACT again to improve my score. After I graduate, I'd very much like to be able to compete in track at the collegiate level.
