Aiden Burkhart '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aiden Burkhart and I am currently a senior at Basehor Linwood High School. In college I would like to study business or nutrition in sports or athletes and continue in my running. I started running in 7th grade when joining the cross country team. However I found joy in running but was never that good so I just did it for fun. After my sophomore year I wanted to really step up and improve my form, my times, and my mileage and running became more of a lifestyle and became something I don't even have to think about doing I just did everyday. After continuing to shed time off my 5k, 1600, and 3200, times I became a team captain and helped push my teammates to be their best even in the hardest conditions. I believe I am different from other recruits because of my work ethic, wanting to be better, and my leadership on the team while still maintaining good grades in school.
