Jamee McGinness '18 Recruiting Profile

I have competed in Track since 8th grade and knew that was what I wanted to do in college from the beginning. I also play football and baskerball as well, playing linebacker and tight end in football. I enjoy those sports as well, but my true passion is track. I have tried running as well as throwing, but have progressed to mainly throwing throughout my career. I am very committed to track and practice it throughout the year. I would love to compete in college and will compete in any event and do anything the coach feels as necessary for me to grow and to help the team do it's best. What sets me apart from other recruits is my determination and work ethic. I work my hardest day in and day out in the weight room as well as on technique to perform the best I can. My main events are Javelin and Discus, but have also done running from the 100-800 as well and shot put.
