My name is Kbree Alvarez; I am gonna be a junior at Riverside High School located in Wathena, Kansas. I plan to Major in Pediatrics. I have a strong passion for softball, and have a strong desire to play at a high level of competition. I am primarily a second baseman, but also a utility player and can play any position. I typically bat in the 3-4-5 spot on my high school team and in the 5-6 spot on my travel team. My presence is always a good thing to bring to the field. For example; the way I carry myself on the field or how I use my voice as a way of leadership. My plan at the plate is to always keep it simple and do what I know and love to do. Playing softball has taught me how to be a team-player, and to always stay motivated even when I make mistakes. I have learned to communicate with my teammates and be a leader while on and off the field. Softball has already offered me so many amazing opportunities and has connected me with amazing coaches and players who I look up to as major role models in my life. I am willing to do whatever it takes to become the best softball player I can become. Academics are a big essential element in college but I think being a part of a team creates life long bonds, teamwork, and also character. The only way to get better at something is by challenging yourself and pushing yourself to do better. This is why I find softball such a passion as it is not an easy game, it is a game of precision, timing, and focus.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
