I am a self-motivated student who excels academically with an aspiration to continue my education in the engineering field after graduating high school in the fall of 2020. I would love to continue to run cross country or track on the collegiate level, if a college is willing to accept me. I really enjoy running long distances and seek satisfaction from excelling as an individual and as a team. I seek to improve and continue making changes to my workout to show improvement from week to week. I am different from other runners in that I take advanced academic courses in my senior year in high school and have received college credit for completed courses. As a senior I have a composite of a 26 on my ACT. With all my after school practices and meets I manage to excel academically. I have a strong support system from my parents who support me in whatever I set out to achieve.
