As I continue to develop as a competitive runner I have come to the realization that I have good mid-distance speed in the 400, 800, and 1600. I know I have not tapped my potential in any of these events and believe I can help a program that is looking for a determined, hard working, and dedicated athlete. I have splits of 51 in the 400, ran the 800 only once this past year (Junior) and turned in a 2:03. We are a low volume team and believe my best running years are ahead of me. In an unofficial meet I posted 1:59 and know if I consentrated on the 800 and 1600 I can and will improve significatly. I am competitive and coachable.
I am looking for a college that values academic excellence along with high moral character, rather than someone wanting the average college experience. I hope to hear from coaches that are interested in runners that support their team and strive for excellence.
