For the next six years of my life, I plan to further educate myself in: accounting, law, or another study while pursuing my athletic goal of being a hammer thrower in college. I can bring leadership and experience to a team to help everyone in that sport stay motivated. One way I have done this is by offering words of encouragement to my teammates over the last nine years within the USATF organization. While participating in high school track I have mentored and/or coached other students who have never thrown before. Through track I have learned: how to be a leader, how to participate as a team player, social skills, and time management; these skills will help me transform into an adult in a complicated world.
