James Pennington III '20 Recruiting Profile

  I've been involved with Track and Field the last for 4 years. Currently, participate with Club Track United Southern Express (USATF) with Coach Reginald Mosely and Byron Turner.  Every year, I have improved on times and understanding what it takes grow as person on and off the track. Performing community service, also being a mentor for our younger track athletes. Recently, I made a decision to focus my energy solely on track.

I played football for Southside High School W/R-DB (Starter), but the demand to workout football in morning and track practice in the evening was too much. I would be asset to your program not only as sprinter, but as a jumper. Lastly, current GPA 3.0 going into my senior year at Southside High School in Youngsville,la. Under NCAA sliding scale my ACT (Score 64) made me eligible for college. Will be taking ACT again upcoming year. My goal is to compete Indoor/Outdoor LHSAA State High School Championship. This is the first year Southside High School is eligible to participate first Senior Class. Lastly, FAFSA form was completed on 10/5/19.
