    Track and Field have shaped me into who I have become today. As a freshman I was able to help my team win the Maine Class B state championship, So far this had been the highlight of my career. Living in Maine and being able to run here is great but where I lived competition lacked and I was never able to push myself and really see what I could do until the last meet of the season when everyone got together at that state meet. Recently I moved south a little bit still in Maine but after some research, I can see competition down here is better and I will be able to improve my times with help of other athletes. During my Sophomore year my coach first told me in indoor track I was doing the 400m dash I was scared I had never done it before but was open to the idea of trying it. After putting up a good time my coach put me there for the remainder of the season and it grew to be my main event in only one year.
