I enjoy the camaraderie and challenges of track and field and understand the importance of a strong collegiate education. I am committed to my craft and want to compete with like-minded athletes at the Division I level. As I will provide my best in my events and for the team, I'd like to know that my school will also help me succeed in academics, providing the best support possible for a full-time athlete.
Apart from my marks in multiple events, I plan to continue to improve both in my events and in the classroom. As I'm a 16 year rising Junior, I believe my good years are still ahead of me which enables me to help my team succeed. I am high energy, personable and supportive of my teammates, and look forward to working not only with the coaches but with my fellow athletes.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at the end of first term Sophomore year which resulted in my very low GPA Freshman year. Post treatment second term Sophomore year, I've averaged a 3.8+ unweighted core GPA through first term Junior year (at the time of this writing I only had results through first term Junior year).
