Mohammad Alnajjar '23 Recruiting Profile

Hey coach, my name is Mohammad Alnajjar and I graduate in 2023.

      A little background on my track career: I started taking track seriously in March of this year, which was the beginning of my first high school track season (freshman year was canceled). I lead my 4x100 meter relay team to be regional champions and state finalists. Since then, I've developed a passion for the sport unlike anything I've ever had. This summer was also my first AAU track season, and my times have been consistently improving. In college, my goal is to run low 10s in the 100 and 21 flat in the 200. I am also very academically driven, thus I aspire to study medicine, business, and maybe even politics during my college career. 

      There are a few reasons that make me a great candidate for your team. Throughout my life, I have made it my top priority to conduct myself in line with the traits that I value in this world. Integrity, discipline, trust, dedication, and ambition are what constitute my day-to-day actions. I am a natural leader, and I will never hesitate in making sacrifices to help my team and the people around me. By recruiting me, you will find a level of respect that I hold for the team and the sport that I can guarantee is seldom found in many athletes nowadays. Along with my character, my academics are extremely high-level in comparison to other recruits. I scored better than 98% of the country on my ACT, and my schedule is filled to the brim with AP, IB, and honors-level courses. As for my athletics, I am rapidly improving. I plan on running 10.8 in the 100m by next summer, and my 200 should be in the low 22s by then as well.
