I have been a part of winning culture throughout my high school career. I know what it takes to win and what needs to be put in. My team won the MHSAA Division 1 state championship in the 2019 Cross Country season. And that is a huge achievement alone. But, the behind the scenes to our championship season is the most valuable part of it.
Knowing what it takes to win it the most valuable lesson that I have learned. My team embraces what we call the 4 pillars. Character, Camaraderie, Competition, and Commitment. These pillars are what led our team to victory and what makes me the athlete that I am. Athletics is not what runs my life however. Academics is a huge part of my life and I'm looking for a college that will not only benefit me athletically but also academically. Outside of school and running I am a part of the band. I am also the drum major of the school's marching band. I will be captain for the team this upcoming fall. My competitiveness, ambition, work-ethic, and leadership is what will pave my path to success in college. I know and possess the tools to success on your team.
