First of all, thank you for viewing this account and taking me into consideration when deciding the perfect fit for your program. Growing up one of my many goals in life was and still is to play sports at a collegiate level and I have worked hard to get where I am today but I believe I am still far from my potential. I am always open to improvement and any new ideas to further my abilities as a runner. I am viewed as a leader among my teammates and they always look to me for guidance inside and outside of sports. I try to set an example of what a proper student athlete should be: hard working, strong minded, and dedicated. I have worked to separate myself from other recruits by bettering myself in any way that I can and making sure that I am always outworking others. Improvement doesn't just come on the track though, I dedicate myself to striving in school and graduating at the top of my class, I will simply not allow for anything less because I have set goals for myself and also hold myself to a higher standard than most. The only obstacle I had was myself, once I broke that initial barrier I opened myself to a brighter future and greater life goals. Nothing comes easily in life and I have made it a statement to strive to be the best person I can be in every aspect of my life. Thank you for taking the time in reading the brief summary I have created for you and also thank you again for taking me into consideration for your track program.
