My name is Nick Cockerel, I ran cross country and track for Otsego High School in Otsego, Michigan and currently Saint Leo University in Florida. I started running cross country and track when I was in 6th grade. I’ve always had a passion for running and working hard. I was never the most "naturally talented" runner but through a lot of hard work and sacrifices, I earned my spot as one of the top runners in the state of Michigan. I absolutely love running - the thrill of competing and the desire for winning drives me. I one day hope to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the marathon. I’m willing to do what others can’t, won‘t, and don’t do to be successful! I've built my success so far on hard work, determination, and setting goals. I'm confident with those same attributes, along with guidance and mentorship from coaches and team work, I will achieve my dreams.
