During college I aspire to work hard in order to reach the best version of my self whether it be through school, running, or life. I am very motivated to attend college and thrive to earn a degree in the field I choose. I have been the top runner on my cross country team and top distance runner on my track team since 8th grade so my goal for college is to be a big contributor to a competitive running team. I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because of my work ethic and my leadership abilities. Also, I believe my ability to lead and impact my teammates helps me to stand out compared to other recruits. I was awarded the ExCEL award from my high school for my standout leadership in sports and academic abilities. Another thing that helps me stand out from other recruits is that I am currently enrolled in PSEO at Northwestern so I am already used to college level classes.
