I am a dedicated, hard-working athlete striving to continuously improve not only athletically but as a person as well. I have earned 3 Varsity letters in track with a focus on the 110 meter hurdles, the 300 meter hurdles and high jump. Over the past 2 seasons, I have been recognized as All-Conference and this past season, competed in the MN State Championship. I am looking to continue my track career in college backed by a team pushing me to exceed my goals and to build lifelong camaraderie amongst my teammates.
I am confident in my ability to improve my best hurdle times and high jump height. I’m currently running Varsity Cross-Country including daily weight training in order to achieve my 2019 track season goals. My goals for the upcoming season are to run the 110M hurdles in 14.80, the 300M hurdles in 40.00 and to jump 6’5. I plan to qualify and compete in the MN State Championship finals in the 110M hurdles and high jump as well as earning my All-Conference status once again.
I maintain a 3.2/4.0 GPA while taking several college level courses and I plan to major in psychology. I'm open to the size and location of a college/university which I attend. I am looking for a school which provides a good fit academically and athletically, with a competitive track program, in an environment which allows for personal growth and development.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jared Stanke
