Hello,
My name is Alvin George and I'm going into my senior year at Wayzata High School. My passion is Track and Field, and my favorite events are the 100m and 200m.
I started running track in 7th grade as a middle schooler. I started to compete in USATF organized meets the summer after my freshman season of high school. At the moment, I run track at the Varsity level at Wayzata High school. I believe I can be a good asset because my ability to adapt and push myself to my physical peak are exemplary, both things are very important as a student athlete. I believe you should run every race with everything you have, run like you're the slowest in every race and you could surprise yourself a lot more than you'd think. Keeping a positive mentality is one of the most important things you need as a track athlete and I believe I have that quality. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to, whether that's getting an A in a classroom or running a huge PR. Dedicating yourself with 100% attention will take you farther than you can imagine.
Aside from running comes the academic side of things, which I take just as seriously. In "Student-Athlete" student comes first and I try to challenge myself as much as I can in the classroom. You can be the most athletic person on earth but if your brain isn't there academically it would all be for waste.
At the collegiate level, the ultimate goal for me would be to become a student athlete. To have the opportunity to compete at a collegiate level would be an unspeakable blessing, and I believe I am capable manifesting great things.
