Hello my name is Landon Ahrens. I live in Long Beach Mississippi and attend Long Beach High School. Since the time I joined the wonderful sport of running in 8th Grade, I excelled at both Track and Cross Country and quickly noticed that this was my calling. In 8th grade (Middle School), by giving it my all, I earned the ability to run in the State Championship with my fellow Varsity Cross Country Runners. The first year of track, 8th grade, I earned the ability to run as the top 8 Runners of our division in the 1600m. After making the High School Baseball team for my first two years of High School, I took a break from Track due to the conflict of the two sports but have always managed to give 100% of my effort into running for my Cross Country Team. I am excited for my next two years of high school. My goal is to give all my efforts to running both cross country and track all year round. I am a very driven individual and when I put my mind to something, I never disappoint. I constantly strive to better myself both physically and academically. I have always had this drive and desire to be the best, and I can confidently make the promise that my attitude toward school and athletics will never change no matter where I reside on the collegiate level.
