I have been running since I was 11 years old and aspired to run at the collegiate level. I know that running in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I am a 4yr varsity runner for track and cross country earning all conference and all district honors all 4yrs as well as qualifying for state individually every year.
I train hard year-round, and I am a team leader and try to lead by example. I am very coach-able and strive to be one of the hardest working runners on the team.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am currently a member of our student government, and participate in many after school clubs as well as volunteering in my community. I participate in summer honors classes and have been involved in a National youth leadership conference.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
