I've always loved being active, and doing sports. As a freshman I did distance in track and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the sport. One of the main things that I'm excited about running in college is the level of competition, running against the nation's best runners. I'm looking forward to being apart of a team where we can work together, push each other to do better and become faster runners.
One of my favorites things about cross country and track has been pushing myself and teammates. I have learned that cross country and track are more than just about running, it's about your relationship between you, your coaches and teammates. These relationships have made me a better person, by running as a team, cheering each other on in practice and at races, in both good times and bad times. These are some of the reasons I want to continue running.
Education is important to me, in high school I've found that I like building and designing things. I'm interested in an engineering or an architect field. I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which is a 2 year commitment after I graduate.
