Personal Statement
I, as a student-athlete, believe that having goals in the classroom and for academics is just as important as having goals on the track. I apply myself, to the best of my ability, to whatever I commit. Therefore, I do not hesitate to ask questions if I don't understand something or to ask for help, so that I can have a better understanding of the topic. I also apply myself to keeping my grades up, so I can be confident in my classes. When I am on the track, I give the track my full attention. I am a competitive person, and, as such, I enjoy a competitive environment. That means I will work as hard as I can on the track to push past my limits, so I can get an edge on my competition. I love being able to better myself and being able to help others better themselves. As such, whenever I have the opportunity to lead, if I can, I take it.

- AwardsI have joined the National Honors Society, I have received the Across the Board Athlete Award for North Valleys High School, I have received The Rookie of the Year award from North Valleys High School in 2021, I have received the Most Improved Award from North Valleys High School for Cross Country in 2022, I have also received a Punctual Panther Award for receiving no tardies in the school year of 2022-2023, I have received an award from the University of Nevada, Reno Army ROTC Battalion for demonstrating Outstanding Leadership Skills, I have received an award from the National FFA Organization for participating in the AG Technology & Mechanical systems, I have received a Certificate of training for completing Cadet leadership Course, the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps awarded me the CLC Distinguished Graduate Award, and I have been certified in welding G1, G2, and G3 on SMAW.
