Winston "Justus" Mora '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Winston Justus Mora. I stand at 5 foot 5 inches and am approximately 125 pounds. I currently have four official years of experience in track and field, however I have been running before I could even walk, so it has been something I have been doing all my life. But because of my formal training, I made the All-Region First Team for three events in the last year alone. As an athlete, I can bring numerous things to a team such as a hard work ethic by completing workouts with desirable results. This might in fact inspired others to put forth equal effort. But even greater than contributing as an athlete is influencing as a human. I can give leadership to the team; I was a captain of my high school team for two years. I can also provide to a team drive and determination. I have made the dedicated decision to seek schools with a men�??s track program and only consider them. And with that type of determination, I can convey the passion of track and field to others. As for a school, I�??m looking for a college in the northwest region of the United States. With this region, I still have plenty of opportunities at schools but it doesn�??t take me too far away from home and my family. They are an enormous part of my life. My family is in need of financial help. I have yet to decide completely what I would like to major in. However, I would like to minor in Asian Studies, but more specifically Japanese. Some goals I have colligate track and field are to first, of course, run as a freshman. It would be best for me personally to run as early as possible. They say seven days without track and field makes one weak. Another goal would have to be running against the best competition I can find for myself. I always have to strive to challenge myself to achieve a higher level. It is frankly the best way to live. And a third goal would have to be making an impact. Not only on just the team but also to other intervals. Although it is cliché, I want to motivate the next generation by them seeing the steps I have taken.
