Hi Coaches, my name is Quinn Marino. I am a 2023 graduate and am interested in participating in track at a collegiate level. I am a dedicated student-athlete that values my academic performance as equally as I do my athletic performance. I am looking to further my academic career as well as my track career at a college that pushes me so I can grow academically and athletically.
I take pride in my work ethic. My mindset for track and school is that I either win or I learn. Either way, I am winning because learning is winning. Knowledge is the greatest power to further one’s success. Whether performing poorly on a test or not reaching a PR, the opportunity to evaluate what went wrong and how I will do better in the future is an opportunity for growth. What you do after the experience shows the type of person you are. I keep my head up and motivate myself to work harder for the next meet or test. Knowing that, I never want to be the smartest in the room. I try to surround myself with those more knowledgeable so I can learn and advance as a student-athlete.
