I am interested in running multiple seasons at a four year college. My participation in multiple sports as well as activities outside of school such as Boy Scouts has given me the opportunity to be a leader. Running has taught me the value of hard work and dedication. These are qualities I put to use in sports, academics, and other commitments. I have also learned the importance of setting goals for myself. Two of my personal goals for this season are to qualify for my county meet of champions as well as my state meet of champion. A goal that I have for my Xc team is to qualify as a team for both the county meet of champions and the state meet of champions. By the end of my Junior year I want to break 16:30 in the 5K, break 4:30 in the mile, break 2 in the 800 as well as break 10 in the 2300. I believe all of these goals are achievable with hard work and perseverance. I hope to make this year a big year for me personally by improving my times and breaking some huge milestones that I have set for myself.
