As a track runner that began running their junior year of high school I have been able to grasp a lot and grow a strong liking for the sport. I‘ve put in so much time on and off the track to make sure I become better than everyone else around me. Whether that is putting in extra hours on the track to get my form down or going to the weight room for strength and power, anywhere I see that I might be struggling I make sure I look deeper into it and find different ways to improve myself so I can become a better athlete. Even in the classroom I make sure I do what it takes to keep my grades high so that I can continue to do what I need to do on the track. Track is important but I know keeping my grades up and behaving in school is what will get me to the next level.
