Hi, I'm Matthew Hodorowski, but most people on my team call me Hods. I'm a junior at Hillsborough High School, NJ, and I love Cross Country and Track. I've been running since I was in 3rd grade and have grown to love and appreciate the sport.
In my sophomore year of high school, I made the Varsity Track and Field team. I made the Varsity Cross Country team my junior year and was named the team's MVP. I am always looking to improve - I push myself both in school and running because I enjoy seeing all of my hard work pay off.
As a Student-Athlete, I prioritize my academics though. I am currently enrolled in four AP classes and have taken multiple Honors classes. I am looking for a school with high academic opportunities, specifically in the STEM field. I am really interested in Computer Science and Computer Engineering because I love problem-solving.
I am looking to continue running at any college level from DI to DIII. I want to keep on improving and have a positive impact on the team. When I step on the track/course, I know that's where I belong, and that's why I run and why I am going to be running for as long as I can.
