Personal Statement

Having attended The Lawrenceville School (boarding) for 2 and a half years has been a wonderful experience, in which I have had to balance all the events of school and personal life, on my own. Currently, I run track at a varsity level, while maintaining a 3.6 GPA over the last term. At Lawrenceville, students are left with little free time, so I dedicate mine to either recovering from training, technique-based track workouts, and studying, or working on assessments, while still leaving time over so I can enjoy what Lawrenceville has to offer with my housemates and other friends.
I believe my transition to collegiate-level track will be a seamless one, as the aforementioned lifestyle I currently lead should allow my habits and schedule to transfer well. In college, I'd like to run track for a 4-year duration in college, and even after graduating, I'd like to run in my free time.

- ActivitiesFor All: - Peer Tutor - Tutoring freshman Lawrentians in History, English and Spanish for 2 1/2 hours a week. - Archives Club Founder & Council - Leveraging Lawrenceville's Stephen Archives to create exhibits for the community, and conduct inter-club research, which will culminate in a final project. - Operations Chief @ MEGA League - (Began Sep. 2023) - Currently heading the Partnerships (7 members & interns) and Marketing divisions of MEGA (6 members & interns) (See LinkedIn for more) - Formerly a Partnership & Marketing Intern @ MEGA (May-Aug) - MEGA Hackathon 3rd Place Overall & entrepreneurship award - Coded created a project and video essay within 24 hours that ultimately placed 3rd out of 428 participating teams. - Elected Woodhull House Historian (House Council) - Creating a year-long essay/video project to document the events of the year, while also leveraging Lawrenceville's archives to compare and contrast Woodhull House's 2023-2024 year to those of the past.
