Davis Wittenburg '21 Recruiting Profile

For me my favorite aspect of track is the team. In high school everyone on my team is very close and friendly and it makes the whole sport so much more enjoyable. I get to train and race with my friends/teammates and we all get to help each other reach our goal. Having that friendly atmosphere where we feel like more then just a team makes me super motivated and hyped to try my absolute hardest no matter what. I love to motivate others to do their best and hope that they will do the same for me, we wouldn't be a team without that. When it comes to academics I always try and put in the most effort I can, i'm not going to achieve anything if I sit around and don't try. Just like in track and field if i don't put in the effort i wont get the results. I have goals that i want the achieve and I learned that to do that it requires a lot of time and effort.
