I can best be described as a person who rises to the challenge. With hard work and dedication I have balanced the importance of maintaining strong academics while participating in varsity sports. My passion for running began as a high school freshman and has grown since. In my junior year I earned MVP for my Cross Country team. As an Eagle Scout, Captain of the cross-country team, and Treasurer of my class, I believe firmly in taking on leadership positions, which set good examples, and encourage those around me. I am equally as passionate about my family, church, and community. My goals are to pursue a business degree in college, and to continue my growth as a competitive runner.
