Parker Fullem '22 Recruiting Profile

If I had to choose a single characteristic to describe myself, it would be that I am a hard worker. I pride myself on being goal-oriented, and work countless hours to be the best I can be, remain highly competitive, and ultimately, get to where I want to be. Outside of cross country, I juggle work at a part-time job (I have been working since I’m 14), along with hours of homework from AP and honors classes. Through this work ethic, I have learned discipline, and how to manage my schedule in order to remain a standout student, employee, and athlete.

I also consider myself a leader. As a freshman and sophomore, I learned from great runners how to lead a team with high aspirations. Now in my second year as captain, I continually discover new ways to inspire and elevate my teammates. Working with an excellent head coach, I have absorbed many new ideas that help me to become a better runner, as well as a better person.

In college I plan to pursue science and continue my cross country career, while also working to make myself, and those around me, the best athletes possible.
