Go Hard Or Go Home...
That is the quote to live by it applies in all aspects of life
For a student athlete like me, what it means to me is that if I don't do the best I can every day when I look in the mirror I can’t tell myself good job, and I won’t go to sleep knowing I did the best I can possible do.
My goal in life is to be successful in whatever the future hold for me.
I dream of being an athlete at the college level so I have the opportunity to gain a higher education and play against the world’s best. I love sports, I been playing different types of sports and special activities since the day I was able to walk. I played baseball, basketball, lacrosse, football, and now track and field. Just knowing I am a valuable part of a team is all I need.
I am self motivated and love to work and improve my weak aspects. For instance, when I was younger I played pitcher and my team needed a catcher, no one in the team wanted to give up their position so I lead by example and became the team’s catcher. It was very difficult for me to adjust and learn a new position but I worked hard every day and set small goals for myself over the years I developed my skills and became a great catcher.
If for some reason my future is altered and I am unable to go to college I will join the air force and serve the wonderful nation that gave me the opportunity to chase my dreams freely. Currently I am in an Air Force program and I have excelled and gone up the ranks and I am working hard to become an officer.
A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done.
