Hello, I am Oko Lokko from Union High School Varsity Track and Field. I started running track in the eighth grade and quickly discovered that I was pretty good at it. I can run a variety of distances from 200m to 5K but the 400m is my preferred race followed by the 800m. I like the mental aspect of running and pushing myself to become a better athlete. I also enjoy competing with my teammates and some of my favorite memories are with the UHS 4X400 relay team. Academically, I am very strong, in the top 10% of students at my high school and a National Honor Society honoree. I have taken several Honors-level and AP classes and I am well prepared for the academic rigor of a selective institution. I’m looking forward to my best year in track as a senior in high school and then beyond that in college. With me, you’ll get someone who is dedicated to the sport and to eating and training right. I will put in the work, and I will come prepared.
