Grafton Urbatsch '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grafton Urbatsch. My post-high school plan is to attend four years of undergrad to receive my associates degree in electrical engineering, and then serve as a United States Marine for four years, and then study four years at a law school to eventually become a patent attorney. I value hard work, not because of the success that comes with it, but because I just love hard work. I recently ran a 50 mile ultra marathon in the mountains of Los Alamos in under 14 hours, and I am currently spending my summer hours working two jobs (building trails and hosting a local restaurant), studying for the SAT and ASVAB, working out, and training for an Iron Man next summer. I love the outdoors, but more specifically working myself and pushing my limits 7 days a week. I am also deeply religious and believe anything can be done through the Lord, as do I love my country and plan on serving sometime in the next decade.
