As a scholar athlete doing distance running since my freshman year, I welcome all the challenges as I am a work in progress to reach my full potential of being the best I can be. I am very passionate about track and field, each day I push myself to go a little harder.
All my life, I have been actively playing soccer. I have played modified and varsity over the past four years. My focus was shifted when I felt the need to explore another sport as I felt the strong need for a challenge. During my freshman year I explored the sport of track and field and accepted the challenge ahead. That year, my challenge was great but not impossible to achieve. I trained tirelessly because I wanted to improve. Sophomore year, I worked even harder, because I had track and field training, I was still playing varsity soccer and working hard to keep my academical grades up as an honor student.
For Senior year, my focus is to keep my academic grades up as I already started doing AP classes since last summer and during my junior year. My final year, my goal is to train hard and hope for a successful senior year in track and field. I strongly believe, hard work gives exemplary results.
