Dietrich Mosel '14 Recruiting Profile

Coming out of high school my goal is to get into a college that will prepare me the most for life. My dream is to become a musician touring the world playing album after album in concert. But first I would start out small playing in local bars and clubs, trying my hardest to be discovered. Running has helped me to realize that with hard work anything is truly possible. I have been training since freshman year for my senior year, and it has paid off this season. I have come in third in the two meets I have had so far, and have set a personal record of 13:18 in the 2 1/2 mile for myself. This dedication I have to running teaches me to apply myself in other areas and push myself for success in whatever I do. I live by the philosophy that you only get so many chances in life, and its important to make sure you take them and make the most out of them. My plan is to take all the chances I can in college and in life, and make my dreams become a reality as a result of that.
