2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started running track my freshman year of high school. I fell in love with the sport very quickly, and have dedicated my life to it over the past four years. I have always wanted to play collegiate sports, and until high school my passion was soccer. Track and field is unique in the way that everyone can improve, and that hard work will very clearly show your improvement. I am a very hard worker. When I put my mind to something I will do everything humanly possible to achieve my aspirations. I carry this mindset with me in every aspect of my life. In school, on the field, and especially on the track. Someone might be more talented than me, but no one will work harder than me. No one wants it more than me, because when I have a goal it becomes everything. I am dedicated to being the best student athlete I can be!
