Jonas Miller '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonas Miller, I am a 4 year runner. I have learned and progressed a lot since my very first year of running. I originally began running during the return from COVID and when I first started I wasn't as focused and dedicated as I am now. I began running through cross country, and now, I have improved significantly in Track and Cross Country. My goals for my senior season is to break 17. I have managed to improve this year in cross country almost 2 minutes since the previous season, and my plan is to squeeze at least another minute out of it. As for track, I have talked to my coach and we plan to make my new specialty either the mile or two mile, I had originally focused on the 800, and now I will still be a part of our relay, but I plan to master the mile and two mile for high school and still run the 8 as extra work. I think I would be a good candidate for most squads because I am willing to work harder than most to acheieve my goals. I have also been on both sides of the spectrum as a participating runner, and now a serious runner, so I think I can blend in with any team dynamic. Lastly, I would like to think I am very coachable because I definitely don't know everything about running, but I am more than willing to learn from those who have extended knowledge.
