2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Running is my favorite pastime. Uniquely, I am one of the few runners able to compete in cross country, as well as sprints and hurdles, at the varsity level. I spend a lot of time focusing on my non-athletic goals; I am an aspiring eagle scout and a leader in many extracurricular activities and clubs. My hurdling experience testifies to my quick learning ability; I have less experience in that particular event than cross country, yet I have risen to the top in my school. I am a firm believer in the fact that I can master any skill with enough practice, and that my optimism and calm confidence set me apart from many other athletes.
