Hi, my name is Casey White! My friends, family, and coaches would most likely tell you that I am a perfectionist and that I am very competitive. I not only exhibit these qualities in athletics, but in the classroom as well. I am a 4.0 student, and I am an all-Ohio athlete and academic all-Ohio athlete in indoor track, outdoor track, and cross country. While most people give up during tough times, I will fight through the adversity. I understand that success requires sacrifice, and that improvement requires uncomfortableness. I also understand that success is achieved through trust in coaches, teammates, and the processes leading to victory. Something that makes me different from other athletes is that I want tough competition. In highschool, my best times and races have been at the most competitive meets, and I enjoy the competitive meets far more than than meets where I may place higher because there is less competition. Lastly, I am a leader and not a follower. I have been nominated as team captain for my track team Freshman and Junior year. During my role as captain I emphasized communication, trust, positive energy, teammwork, and integrity— I believe these are the necessities for success.
