Joe Fuller '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, and welcome to my NCSA Profile! My name is Joseph (Joe) Fuller and I am here to get to know college coaches in distance track and field. I am currently a Junior this year at Lehman High School in Sidney, Ohio. I am almost a 3 year lettering runner for both Cross Country and Track and Field.

Outside sports I'm working on finishing my Eagle Scouts rank for the Boy Scouts.  My project contains clearing out brush and extending a trail and putting in two bridges in a Tawawa Park in Sidney, Ohio. This task will require me to test my leadership abilities. Also in Science Olympiad I was part of the team that qualified for state and in last year’s Environthon my team placed 3rd in Shelby County, hoping to become first this year! I am also the current Stock Club President at Lehman Catholic High School. I also take part in many extracurriculars in and outside school. I’m in programs such as Boy Scouts of America where I’m working my Eagle Scout, 4-H, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Environthon, Science Olympiad, Relay for Life, Volunteer at the Special Olympics, Lehman INTERACT Club, Stock Club (president), Alter Boy, and Columbian Squires. I also take part in a local and school Disc Golf league.  I’m also our XC team captain and Track ‘distance’ captain.

I am a very determined runner that won't take no for an answer, and am willing to sacrifice to get better, for sake of myself and the team. I'm a leader, and will always succeed at my sports. I'm level headed and always eager to learn. I'm passionate and smart and always first in and last to leave. I take nutrition and academics and my faith seriously and look for challenges to complete. I train in speed, and quickness as well as mindset training. I want championships and I'm willing to do my part to get the team there.
