I aspire to be a decathlete at the collegiate level. Ever since I joined my first track team in 7th grade, my dream has been to go to college for track. My main events have been sprinting, hurdling, and pole vault and I plan to add more to this list for the decathlon. I am going to train for the other events during my off-season, during the summer, and during my next season. I have really only had this year for track, because my freshman year was canceled due to Covid, and I only got to run twice during my sophomore year due to an injury and getting quarantined for two weeks; despite these setbacks, I have kept working my hardest to become the best athlete I can. After every practice, I am always the last person there putting in extra work to try to become better. I also try my hardest in school, I have a 3.75 GPA (non-weighted) and I have taken 5 AP classes. I have been in leadership for a year now and it has taught me many qualities of a leader and how to work together as a team. I have also dreamt very high because I believe in myself and I believe that I can accomplish my dreams if I try hard enough; that is why I plan to do club track in my off-season, go to many pole vault camps, and start weight training to be ready for my next season.
