Track and Field and sprinting has been my passion since I started the sport in 7th grade. It was never in my mind not to take my passion above the high school level. I have been addicted to the feeling of training and setting PRs since I set my very first PR. The highlight of my track career so far was making states my junior year with my 4x400 team. It was a surreal moment because it was something my teammates and I dreamed of since we started track. The years of falling short of goals was a great teacher, I would rather set high goals and fail then set low goals and succeed. The failures I have experienced have also taught me to never give up on something important to me even when it gets tough. Track and field has taught me more than just how to be a better athlete, but has also taught me many lessons about life in general. My interest in track and field was sparked when I saw my brother competing and it fascinated me. I have always been very competitive and had a desire to improve myself and do my best at anything I do. I think I would make a great impact on your team because I lead by example and I am always the hardest working person on the track.
