Sam Signor '16 Recruiting Profile

As a dedicated athlete I have participated in many sports throughout my life, but when I discovered my natural ability to run, I made the difficult decision to give up my other sports and pursue my goals of reaching the collegiate level of running - and beyond. I began running when I was just 10 years old, participating in the occasional 5ks and 10ks to raise money for local charities. I began to accrue a love for the sport, although I was too young to participate competitively until the 8th grade. As soon as I was eligible to run for my middle school team, I immediately began to show promise as an upcoming high-school runner. 
I hope to run to new heights in college, and perform well with my fellow teammates for years to come. I hope to one day do things I never imagined doing, such as making US Olympic Trials, running marathons, ultra-marathons, and becoming an elite runner. Academically, I wish to study Pre-Law, Political Sciences, and History/U.S. Government to pursue a career as a sports agent, lawyer, or other law-associated field after working my way through law school.
