Hi, My name is Nick and I’m an 11th grader at Ridley High School in Delaware County, PA. I became interested in running when I was in elementary school— running local 5K’s with my mom. My middle school didn’t offer Track/XC for boys but I chose to attend daily practice with the girls to build up my skills, knowing I’d join the team in high school.
In 9th grade, I ran a 5:30 1600m and a 13:00 2-miler.
In 10th grade I ran a 4:44 1600, a 10:22 2-mile, and a 19:07 5k.
This year, I ran a 10:16 2 mile and 16:55 5k. This coming Spring, I’m hoping to run a sub 4:25 in the 1600m and a sub 9:30 3200m, after running indoor winter track for the 1st time.
I have a strong interest in health and fitness and am looking to explore a career path in physical therapy. I currently attend the Exercise and Sports Therapy program at Delaware County Technical School, in conjunction with my core HS classes. I believe this will give me a strong foundation to build on, when I start college.
I’m dedicated and focused on my sport and am confident that I’ll be a valuable addition to my college team! I’m looking for the right school to fit both my academic needs and athletic potential. Let’s talk!
