Seth Boyce '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the best mechanical or electrical engineer that I can be, so to meet this goal I aspire to attend a college or university that has a solid program in these fields so that I can I gather the knowledge to achieve my goal.  I am a hard working student who studies diligently, especially at what interests me as my STEM classes in engineering have shown with my high "A" average.  I was even chosen to meet with the Governor of PA, Tom Wolf, to demonstrate my engineering project.  I am also very passionate about my athletic career.  I run in Boys Spring Track, Cross Country, and Winter Track.  I also am a defender on my varsity soccer team and have played on the Varsity team since my tenth grade year.  I hold my high school record in numerous track events.  I push myself to continually do better as my times have improved over the years.  I train hard and in the two and half months last summer I ran the elevations that were equal to Mt.  Everest.  I am a member of LISA to encourage other athletes to be successful both on the field and in academics.  I give my time to work at a youth camp every summer to train elementary school students in the skills of soccer.  I will continue to strive to be better in both my athletics and academics and am excited to continue to reach those goals at the collegiate level.
