I will make a great addition to your team because I am a hard-worker, dedicated, self-motivated, and a team leader. In the course of the past year, if you were looking for me, you would find me running, swimming, or in the weight room. Furthermore, I would do two of those things five days a week. I am different than other candidates because I have put up extreme amounts of miles these past couple of years. Last year, I ran over 1618 miles, and I am on course to running over 2200 miles this year. Also, I have never missed a single cross country or track practice in my high school career. My goals in college include being the best runner in your program, your division, your state, no matter the odds; I'll do this while still maintaining excellent grades. In my freshman year of high school, I started the year as the number four runner on the varsity team. Less than three months later, I was the number one runner by a large margin. I can do the same for your program. I can help you win.
